About the Role
As Teacher of Economics , you will teach across KS5 , with the potential to contribute to KS4 where offered. You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop strong economic understanding, analytical thinking and confident exam technique.
You will teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:
Secure understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts
Confident use of diagrams, data interpretation and quantitative skills
Application of economic theory to real-world contexts and contemporary issues
Evaluative writing and well-supported judgement in extended responses
Exam confidence through modelling, purposeful practice and precise feedback
Students explore topics such as markets and market failure, competition and regulation, government policy, economic performance, globalisation, international trade and development. Lessons are designed to help students make strong links between classroom learning and the real economy.
