Interim VAT Consultant (3-6 months), London, to £450 per day
£250 - £450 per dayA global technology group with operations spanning over 20 jurisdictions is currently seeking an interim EU VAT compliance specialist. This role will provide support to the international tax team as they look to bring their tax team in-house and help the newly appointed Head of Tax with the ever growing work-load.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of UK VAT comps
- Preparation of Intrastat reports and EC Sales list returns
- Review the companies current VAT compliance and reporting process, advising improvements and modifications
- Provide VAT technical advice to the group
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- Proven VAT compliance experience, preferably in-house
- Proven knowledge of current and up-coming VAT legislation
- Good Excel skills, experience of SAP would be beneficial
- Must be available immediately
