A large property group based in London are looking to hire an interim VAT Accountant as part of continuing to grow their UK-based EMEA finance function.
This is a newly created role and has every possibility of being offered permanent after the contract. You will report directly into the Head of Tax with a reputation for development.
Responsibilities:
- VAT compliance in its entirety for the wider group
- Working with the wider group to minimise tax risk and ensure accurate and timely submission
- Assisting with the MTD project
- Answering group queries from the AP team where required.
Requirements:
- ATT/CTA Qualified or part-qualified, or trained within HMRC
- Exposure to businesses that are partially exempt
- Experience dealing with MTD
- Good technical knowledge of VAT compliance
- Willingness to develop in other areas of tax
