A global luxury goods brand is looking to hire a VAT Accountant as part of continuous growth to their UK-based finance function. This role will be working hand in hand with the Head of Indirect Tax. This is a development role so the successful candidate must be hungry and determined to learn and grow, with a clear route for progression with study support if desired.
Responsibilities:
- VAT compliance for the group, taking a hands on approach in the preparation, review and submission of returns
- Providing VAT advice to group queries
- On-going project work
- VAT reporting (Intrastat and ECSL)
- Assisting with the MTD project
- Answering group queries from the AP team where required.
Requirements:
- Experience of VAT compliance and reporting is essential
- An accountancy or tax qualification would be beneficial
- Good experience of Excel would also be beneficial.
