SEN Teaching Assistant – Special School
Are you a passionate SEN Support Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive special school? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming team in Barking and Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to children with additional needs while gaining valuable education and training experience.
This special school in Barking and Dagenham supports pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties, autism, and communication needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support that helps every child achieve their full potential.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assist with classroom activities and behaviour support
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work alongside experienced staff in a specialist setting
* Gain outstanding education and training opportunities
This role is based in Barking and Dagenham and is ideal for candidates considering a long-term career in education and training. Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:
