Nursery Practitioner / SEN Teaching Assistant – Redbridge

The Role

You will support children’s learning and development through engaging activities, following the EYFS framework and promoting an inclusive environment.

Depending on the setting, you may provide:

• Classroom and 1:1 support
• SEN support for children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
• Behaviour support and emotional regulation strategies
• Personal care support where required
• Assistance with learning activities and daily routines

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (nursery, school, or childcare setting)
• Experience supporting SEN children is desirable
• Understanding of safeguarding and child development
• Relevant qualifications (Early Years/SEN) desirable
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
