Start Date: September About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor's to work in secondary school's across Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students' education while gaining valuable experience in a school environment. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, or those considering a future in teaching. Key Responsibilities * Supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and KS4) in the absence of subject teachers
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task
* Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour
* Support students with their learning and answer questions where appropriate
* Take accurate registers and report any concerns to relevant staff
* Assist with general school duties as required
* Follow school policies and procedures at all times Essential Requirements * Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including English and Maths)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage with young people aged 11-16
* Confident classroom presence and behaviour management skills
* Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects
* Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
