About the Role:
As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll work closely with our experienced team to assess risk, develop bespoke insurance products, and support clients with smart, data-driven solutions. You’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities:
Learn how to assess and underwrite commercial risks across various sectors
Review insurance applications and evaluate documentation and data
Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
Support pricing strategy and contribute to portfolio management
Gain exposure to underwriting systems, technology platforms, and industry insights
Build and eventually manage your own portfolio of business across the UK and Europe
What We’re Looking For:
Dutch-speaking language proficiency
Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above from a Top 20 UK university
Excellent mental maths and the confidence to take decisions
Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
Interest in risk, insurance, data and financial services
A proactive, self-starting attitude and eagerness to learn
