Positions available: 1 part time position (22.5 hours, daily hours negotiable)

Salary: £14,870.70 (£24,784.50 FTE)

We are looking for a compassionate and organised individual to undertake our Resettlement Worker role. The post holder will support clients to establish stable, safe new homes for themselves and their children, maintain their wellbeing during the transition, and improve their future resilience.

This role will support those resettling in Sandwell (and where appropriate other boroughs) into their own homes, as well as those who leave refuge at short notice to return to their previous homes.

The Role

Support offered in this role may include:-

• Support with financial hardship, accessing grants to support with the cost of setting up a new home and logistics of moving.
• Logistical support with transitioning services to new address, accessing health and education.
• Support to live independently, e.g. managing budgets, bills, dealing with landlords, using public transport alone or accessing community resources.
• Emotion support and safeguarding as clients transition out of the refuge into the community.
