The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in West Bromwich for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for a varied role, with an even split between warehouse duties and forklift work.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate:
- £13.25 per hour
Start Date:
- Monday 3rd August 2026
- Week-by-week ongoing booking
The Role:
This position is approximately 50% warehouse work and 50% Counterbalance FLT driving .
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT and manually where required.
- Picking and moving stock both manually and with the FLT.
- General warehouse duties.
- Supporting the warehouse team with any additional tasks as requested by the manager.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable carrying out physical/manual handling duties.
