The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our client based in Tamworth. This Machine Operative role is within the manufacturing industry , working for a growing producer of high-quality paper products designed for the food packaging sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and detail-focused Machine Operative looking to build experience within the manufacturing industry , supporting the production of food-safe packaging materials.
Job Role - Machine Operative (Manufacturing Industry)
As a Machine Operative , you will be responsible for operating and setting paper cutting machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to the correct specifications. The Machine Operative will play a key role within the manufacturing industry , maintaining quality standards and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a paper cutting machine safely and efficiently
- Programming machinery and ensuring correct paper alignment
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting general warehouse and production duties as required
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications
Requirements
Essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience operating a bag machine (essential)
