Manager or Senior Manager - Golders Green London

Our client is a long standing independent firm with an excellent client base. They seek an experienced, qualified tax professional (likely CTA, ICAS, ACA or former Inspector of Taxes) to join an advisory focused team and be the ‘right hand’ of the Tax Partner. In this role you will:
•    Have considerable client contact helping at meetings and with correspondence to advise clients on a wide range of tax issues.
•    The client base is OMB focused and includes a considerable amount of property related businesses. In this role you will advise both the companies and their owners across the life-cycle of their business.
•    The tax work is broad and includes Corporation Tax / VAT / ATED / SDLT but also private client taxes Income Tax / Inheritance Tax / Trusts etc.
•    Alongside advisory work you will review and finalise Corporate Tax Returns for UK and offshore clients (UK Tax). 
•    You will research taxation related technical matters and advise in writing or in conversations. Experience reading primary and secondary legislation would be useful.
•    Day to day work will include; corporate restructuring (mergers / demergers / share sales or purchase / group transactions);
•    Private Client and IHT planning including the use of Trusts.
•    Management, development and review of more junior member of staff’s work in respect of all of the above.
The ideal candidate is likely to be an experienced Tax Manager looking for a step up to Senior Manager or a Senior Manager with proven OMB tax technical experience. Our client can offer flexible working, will consider part-time (4 days or 5 days over 4). This is a friendly, long-standing independent practice based in Golders Green.
