Role: Senior Desktop Support Specialist – Automation
Client: Hedge Fund
Compensation: £125,000 - £175,000 + Bonus
Location: Jersey
Overview
My client are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist to work at an office in Jersey.
This role will suit a seasoned Desktop Specialist who is used to busy trading environments.
The Role
You will provide desktop support within a trading environment, working closely with Traders and Front Office staff while leveraging automation tools.
You will be expected to travel to EMEA and APAC offices on a regular basis as required.
A relocation package can be provided for candidates moving to Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Desktop Support: Providing high level desktop support within a trading environment.
- Trader Support: Working directly with Traders and Front Office staff.
- Automation: Utilising PowerShell, Python and other automation tools within an End User environment.
- Global Support: Travelling to EMEA and APAC offices to support users where required.
- End User Environment: Supporting Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and market data applications.
Requirements
- Environment: Excellent desktop support experience within a similar trading environment.
- Automation: Strong experience with automation tools such as PowerShell and Python.
- User Support: Strong all round End User support experience including Windows, AD and Microsoft 365.
- Market Data: Experience supporting market data applications such as Bloomberg and FactSet.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to EMEA and APAC.
