We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of fund, trust and corporate structures, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting and reporting services while gaining exposure to complex fund structures and a broad range of client engagements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare annual financial statements for a portfolio of fund, trust and corporate structures, including both audited and unaudited entities
- Produce management accounts and financial reporting in accordance with client and regulatory requirements
- Assist with tax compliance and other statutory reporting obligations
- Manage a portfolio of accounting engagements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of all reporting requirements
- Liaise with clients, auditors and other professional advisers to coordinate reporting processes and resolve queries
- Support the preparation of consolidations and complex fund structures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and the efficient delivery of accounting services
- Assist in providing technical support and guidance across the wider team where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), or currently studying towards a recognised accounting qualification
- Previous experience within fund accounting, fiduciary services, trust and company administration, or a similar environment
- Good understanding of fund, trust and corporate structures and their associated accounting requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements and working to multiple deadlines
- Exposure to consolidations and complex investment structures would be advantageous
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
