HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver - Coventry
£17.86ph - £37.00ph| Weekly Pay | Block Bookings
StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking and multi-drop work based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
* Monday-Friday PM : £19.05ph plus holiday pay
* Monday - Friday AM: £17.86 plus holiday pay
* Overtime (after 9 hours) PM : £23.22ph 6th shift weekend work is paid at double time! What the role involves: You'll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1-3 drops per shift , with forklift-assisted unloading. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours , with 8 hours guaranteed pay , including paid breaks. You'll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions. Start time AM - 00:00 - 04:00 AM Start time PM - 18:00 - 22:00 PM Our ideal candidate - Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 2 years
- Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
- Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
