Application Compliance Analyst - Market Data Services

Job Description

As a Compliance Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Market Data Services team, you will help manage market data compliance activities that support business usage across the firm. 

You will be a key point of contact for market data exchange relationships and help implement licensing for proprietary JPM applications.  Coordinate and support external exchange audits and work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues within the JPM application estate.  Contribute to cost efficiency and service improvement by combining strong execution with a practical, risk-aware mindset. 

Job responsibilities: 

• Serve as a primary contact for market data relationships with exchanges and brokers globally
• Implement exchange and broker licensing for proprietary applications
• Manage external market data audits and coordinate directly with exchanges and third-party audit providers
• Onboard applications to strategic infrastructure in alignment with exchange licensing policies
• Identify and mitigate market data compliance issues within proprietary applications
• Communicate with lines of business on exchange pricing and policy changes
• Partner with stakeholders to drive cost efficiency and improve service delivery
• Provide input on operational and technical standards, best practices, processes, and procedures
• Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and industry contacts to support awareness of direction and best practices

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Familiarity with Market Data vendors and associated technologies. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player with confidence and ability to interact with line of business stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, innovative, and analytical.
• Strong time management skills, efficient multi-tasking, and ability to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time and to a high standard.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Knowledge of Market Data Technology systems and platforms (DACS, B-Pipe, FITS).
• Conceptual understanding of market data entitlements.
• Familiarity of external Market Data audits.
• Familiarity of Market Data Exchange policies and licensing.
