Biology Specialist Wanted at an Established Secondary...
Our well-respected secondary school in Richmond seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to shape the future of young scientists and foster a lifelong appreciation for the biological sciences.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core biological principles, practical laboratory skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for biology and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
