Learning Development Assistant (Regulation Focus)

£15 - £17.4 per hourEstimated
Full-time

The purpose of this role is to support students with SEND, particularly those with regulation needs, in developing strategies that enable them to engage successfully in learning.

The role involves working directly with students, delivering targeted small group interventions to improve self-regulation, engagement, and independence. Learning Development Assistants work closely with the Director of Learning Development (SENCo) and the Deputy SENCo, as well as with teaching staff and Heads of Department, to determine the nature of the required support and how best to provide it.

A close working relationship with all colleagues is a requirement of the role. Staff at Stamford are enthusiastic and passionate about learning, and inspire and motivate students of all abilities. They are constantly looking to review and refine their practice, are willing to share ideas with colleagues and are aspirational for themselves and their students.
