Accounts Payable Manager

DescriptionThe Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Lead on behalf of an international organisation with offices in Tring - commutable from Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas.The RoleAs Accounts Payable Lead you will take responsibility for the AP cycle for the UK business and other international entities across Europe. Day to day duties will consist of:Manage the accounts payable cycle, including close communication with vendors, managing the approval workflow, recording AP invoices, preparing monthly payment reports, and uploading final paymentsNew vendor creation processPayroll payment preparation and follow-up on payment approvalsTravel and reimbursement expense reports review and posting in ERP, including balance reconciliationsDaily bank clearing and both daily and monthly reconciliationsWeekly cash flow forecast preparationSupport monthly closing proceduresSupport periodic VAT, EC Sales, and Intrastat reportingYour ProfileYou will ideally have 5 years of core book-keeping and AP Management experience within a fast paced product sales/distribution business. Previous experience of working in an international business would be a distinct advantage as would the ability to speak a second European language such as German, French or Spanish.Salary and BenefitsRole of Accounts Payable Lead will be based 5 days a week in the office with some flexibility once probation is passed and offering a salary of 40-50K.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
