Recruitment Resourcer

About you If you are already working as a Recruitment Resourcer and enjoy the candidate side of recruitment, this could be a really good opportunity for you. We are looking for a Permanent Recruitment Resourcer to join our team in South Manchester, where you will be working with professionals across the construction sector. You will already understand how recruitment works and be comfortable picking up the phone, speaking to candidates and finding the right people for the roles you are working on. You do not need to have construction recruitment experience. We are happy to consider someone from another recruitment sector, as long as you have genuine experience working as a Resourcer and understand what good candidate management looks like. Your experience You must have previous experience working as a Recruitment Resourcer. You will need to be confident sourcing candidates, speaking to them about their experience and understanding whether they are suitable for the opportunities you are recruiting for. You should be organised and comfortable managing multiple candidates and vacancies at the same time. Good attention to detail is important too, particularly when keeping candidate records and CRM information up to date. Experience recruiting permanent professionals would be ideal, although we would consider a strong Resourcer from another recruitment sector who is keen to move into professional recruitment. Most importantly, you will enjoy speaking to people and have the determination to keep working a candidate until you find the right opportunity for them. What you will be doing with your experience You will work alongside our Permanent Recruitment team, supporting the recruitment of professional candidates across the construction sector. Your day will involve sourcing candidates through a range of channels, speaking to them about their experience and career plans, registering suitable candidates and understanding what type of role would be right for them. You will then match those candidates against live vacancies, shortlist the right people and put them forward to our Consultants. You will be dealing with professionals including Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Site Managers, Project Managers, Contracts Managers and other construction professionals. There will also be plenty of candidate generation involved. We want you to build relationships with good people, keep in touch with them and understand what they might be looking for next, rather than only speaking to candidates when there is an immediate vacancy. It is a role where you can become very good at the candidate side of recruitment and develop your knowledge of the professional construction market. About the business Rogers McHugh Recruitment is a specialist construction recruitment business based in South Manchester. Our Permanent team recruits professional construction staff for contractors across the UK, so you will be joining an established recruitment business and working within a specialist market. We are looking for someone who already understands recruitment resourcing and wants to develop their career further within a business where there is the opportunity to learn the professional construction market. You will receive support from experienced Consultants while gaining exposure to candidates, clients and live permanent recruitment campaigns. The salary is £26,000 to £27,000 per year depending on experience.
