Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in a supportive and nurturing environment? This school, a thriving independent primary, is seeking a talented Year 5 teacher to join our team from January 2025.
About the Role
This is a temporary role for the spring and summer terms, with the possibility of a permanent position following the summer break. As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum while fostering a love of learning and supporting each child’s individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching Year 5 (or similar) in a primary school setting.
- A passionate, creative, and engaging approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to nurturing and developing each child’s potential.
- Ability to work well within a supportive team.
