Teacher of Science

Poole High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Science Teacher to join our high-performing, forward-thinking and cohesive department. We are considering all applicants for specialisms in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a combination of these.

Science is a thriving and successful subject area, and the individual sciences are popular electives at both GCSE and A-Level. The science team is large yet tight-knit and benefits from co-located, subject-specific laboratories that enable effective collaboration with departmental colleagues. We teach a rigorous academic curriculum with a clear focus on supporting all students achieve positive outcomes. You will work with the Director of Science and the wider school team to continually drive attainment and standards across the department and the school as a whole.

The successful applicant will be expected to deliver the subject across all Key Stages. We are looking for a conscientious, dedicated team player with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their subject.
