The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a love for mathematics and empowering students to achieve their full potential in this crucial subject. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Maths curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities that foster a passion for mathematics.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
