As an HR Advisor , you will provide professional and customer-focused HR support to managers and employees, helping to deliver people initiatives and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, and absence management processes.
- Managing recruitment and onboarding activities to deliver a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and preparing HR documentation.
- Supporting performance management, learning and development, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Producing HR reports and people metrics to support decision-making.
- Contributing to HR projects, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer, or similar generalist HR position , with a strong understanding of employee relations and UK employment law.
You Will Bring
- Experience supporting managers on a broad range of HR matters.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards one).
Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment, exposure to trade unions, and knowledge of HR analytics would be advantageous. You are a collaborative, adaptable professional with a passion for delivering excellent HR support and continuously improving the employee experience.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Some flexibility may be required to support operational requirements.
- Travel to the Aberdare site required.
