Why This Role is Exciting: In this role, you will: Create captivating content to support PCC messages and initiatives. Manage online communications across our website and social media channels, enhancing public awareness of the PCC's role. Engage with the community by encouraging public and partner involvement in OPCC activities. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Image Capture/Filming: Film and create videos showcasing the PCC's role alongside Sussex Police and key partners. Content Creation: Refresh and upload engaging content for our online platforms. Press Releases & Newsletters: Write and distribute informative press notices and weekly newsletters. Campaign Management: Help promote community services and events, attending public engagements to gather feedback. Evaluation: Assess media reach and online engagement quarterly to guide future strategies. What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should have: A degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, PR/Public Affairs, or a related field. Proficiency in photography and editing software, including DSLR cameras and the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in creating and managing digital and print assets. Excellent writing skills for concise press releases. A proactive attitude in using social media to boost engagement and communication strategies.
