Role Description

Allianz has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our Performance Marketing team. In this strategic role, you will help shape and deliver the digital marketing channel strategy across Allianz Personal and our brands, driving incremental growth through personalisation, SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI-enabled marketing and emerging digital opportunities.

This role offers the opportunity to influence marketing strategy, lead innovative growth initiatives and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Location: This role is be based in our Bournemouth office, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation that attend the office twice a week.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £43,000 per year.

The actual salary awarded will be dependent on your experience, skills and location and forms part of Allianz's wider total rewards package.

About You

• You will play a key strategic role in developing and delivering digital channel roadmaps that support sustainable business growth.
• You will lead the personalisation roadmap, working with Analytics, Communications and Digital Distribution colleagues to enhance customer experiences.
• You will drive the GEO strategy, collaborating across teams to strengthen visibility across AI-driven search and discovery platforms.
• You will lead strategic SEO initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve organic performance and adapting to changing consumer behaviours.
• You will identify, assess and activate emerging channels, technologies and digital opportunities through effective test-and-learn approaches.
• You will champion the adoption of AI-enabled marketing tools, automation and approved internal agents to improve efficiency and performance.
• You will use customer, behavioural and commercial data to prioritise activity, measure outcomes and support investment decisions.
• You will support digital budget planning, forecasting and performance management activities.
• You will build strong relationships with stakeholders, agency partners and technology providers, providing strategic recommendations and updates.
• You will stay informed on industry trends, platform developments and emerging AI innovations to identify new opportunities.
• You will ensure all marketing activity complies with legal, regulatory and data protection requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in digital marketing and channel strategy within an in-house or agency environment.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic roadmaps and growth initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of digital channels including personalisation, SEO, GEO, content marketing, paid media and emerging platforms.
• Experience using customer, commercial and behavioural data to identify opportunities and measure performance.
• Experience working collaboratively with Analytics, Communications, marketing teams, agencies and senior stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of AI-enabled marketing, automation tools and agent-based technologies within appropriate governance frameworks.
• Experience using analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Power BI, Adobe Analytics or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of the insurance market, relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to build evidence-based recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think creatively and identify practical solutions to business challenges.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.

Desirable Skills

• Experience developing and delivering personalisation strategies through Customer Engagement Platforms.
• Experience in SEO, GEO or content visibility strategies, including optimisation for AI-led discovery experiences.
• Experience creating business cases, test-and-learn frameworks and activation plans for emerging digital channels.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools, agents and workflow automation to improve marketing efficiency.
• Knowledge of paid media platforms including Meta, SA360, Programmatic and AI-powered advertising solutions.
• Experience evaluating new technologies and translating innovation into commercial opportunities.
• Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage and awareness of AI governance principles.
