We are in the fortunate position to be recruiting to a Band 6 Physiotherapist position within the General Band 6 rotations as part of the Frailty Service Expansion

This is an exciting time for the Frailty Service within NHS Grampian. Frailty care has been identified as a strategic priority across the organisation, supported by significant investment and a commitment to delivering excellent care for older adults across acute, community and specialist services.

The successful applicant will gain experience working in a number of locations across Grampian in the frailty pathway including in Acute Frailty ward / Intermediate Care / Discharge Hub / Hospital @ Home, as well as Acute Respiratory, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit, Community Rehabilitation and Domiciliary. This post rotates on a 6 month basis and is ideal for a junior physio looking for their first specialist role or for a physio who has not yet decided which speciality they wish to work in. The post holder will also be involved in the supervision of junior staff, healthcare support workers and students on clinical placement within the service.

We currently offer good CPD opportunities where we place a high value on both professional and personal development.

This post will contribute to our weekend and/or on call services. A full induction will be given if required. In addition this post may be required to work 5/7 in some rotations as NHS Grampian physiotherapy team is proactively working towards services over 7 days in some areas.
