We are forward thinking training practice based on Canvey Island and looking to add to our Team with a Practice Nurse. You will need to be passionate about caring for our patients, work well within our team and be looking for an opportunity to continually develop into the role of Practice Nurse. Main duties of the job
We are looking to employ a Nurse who is looking to work in a challenging role and strives to provide excellent patient care. We will offer training in all Practice Nurse duties including Wound Care, venepuncture, Immunisation and Long Term Condition Management for the right candidate. HOWEVER, YOUR MUST BE CYTOLOGY TRAINED About us
We are Medical Student Training Practice, have 3 GP Partners, Prescribing ANP's, 3 HCA's together with PCN clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician and PA. We are very involved in the local PCN. Details

- Cytology / vaginal swabs

- Venepuncture
- Routine immunisations
- Childhood immunisation - training as necessary
- Assisting GPs with minor surgery if required
- Long term conditions reviews
Qualifications
Essential
- Adult Nurse Qualification able to provide proof of qualification
- Registered General Nurse able to provide proof of qualification
- Applicants must have current UK professional registration

- Experience of working within a Nursing Team
- Experience of working with a wide range of patients
- A desire to learn new skills
- Experience of working in Primary Care/GP Practice not essential
