Geography Teacher - Birmingham - January 2026
An ambitious 11–18 academy in Birmingham is looking for an inspiring Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026.
The Opportunity
You’ll teach Geography across KS3–KS5, helping students make sense of their world through engaging, knowledge-rich lessons. Fieldwork, enquiry-based learning and local case studies form a key part of the department’s identity, and uptake at GCSE and A-Level remains strong.
The School
This large, oversubscribed school is rated Good by Ofsted and is known for its excellent behaviour, academic drive and inclusive ethos. Staff are proud of the professional culture and open leadership style. The Humanities department benefits from bright classrooms, digital resources and a newly refurbished learning space with interactive world maps and fieldwork equipment.
About You
- QTS or equivalent in Geography or related subject.
- Strong knowledge of physical and human geography.
- Ability to design engaging, concept-driven lessons.
- Commitment to collaborative planning and fieldwork.
