An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery to cover secondment of the current post holder for 12 months. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of pharmacy services to the neurology, neurosurgery and adult metabolic services. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a pioneering hospital which is expanding and developing new areas in research, service development and education. Main Duties of the Job

- You will act as a clinical role model to junior staff. providing professional leadership, support and guidance in clinical practice
- You will also work as part of our broader clinical pharmacy team and contribute to local and national initiatives to develop and enhance the pharmacy service and medicines management across the Trust.
- You will contribute to the delivery of educational and developmental programmes, including the Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice, and our trainee pharmacist programme.

- MPharm degree or equivalent
- Full registration with Great Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Demonstrable evidence of competence in general clinical practice, including medicine and surgery
- Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or satisfactory evidence of competence as demonstrated within a practice portfolio. Applicants undertaking the JPB Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice will be expected to have completed at least two FS2 modules
- Aware of models of non-medical prescribing
