Finance Assistant
An Independent Secondary School in Durham is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join its experienced finance and administration team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial administration of the school, ensuring that financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the School Business Manager and wider support staff team to provide high-quality financial support across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include processing invoices, raising purchase orders, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records and supporting budget monitoring processes. You will also liaise with suppliers, process payments and assist in preparing financial reports and documentation when required.
The school is looking for an individual with excellent numerical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will need to maintain confidentiality at all times and demonstrate a professional and proactive approach to your work.
