Join Barclays as a Data Visualisation & BI Reporting Manager , where you'll play a key role in driving data-led decision-making across the bank. You'll design, develop, and maintain impactful management reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. By delivering timely and accurate reporting on key performance indicators, trends, and business performance, you'll help stakeholders make informed decisions across a range of business areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Strong experience designing and developing insightful dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI, with data sourced from platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• A solid understanding of data structures, relationships, and modelling techniques, including joins, relationships, and data blending in Tableau and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience administering Tableau Server, including extract scheduling, data connections, subscriptions, and alerts.
• The ability to translate business requirements into clear, effective reporting solutions and visualisations.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, UX teams, and business stakeholders to deliver dashboards that meet Barclays standards and drive decision-making.

Some other highly valued skills include

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and data analytics techniques.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated capability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.

Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities

• Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.
• Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
• Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
• Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required.
• Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.
