This is the largest independent US tax firm in Europe, with an excellent reputation for technical tax training and tailored personal development plans.
Having completed its second graduate intake a couple of months ago, the firm has reviewed its longer-term needs and is now looking to strengthen the team at Senior Tax Associate level.
This is an opportunity for an experienced UK/US tax professional to manage their own client portfolio, review junior work and continue developing towards Assistant Manager and Manager level.
Key responsibilities
● Taking ownership of a varied portfolio of UK/US private clients
● Preparing complex returns and reviewing work completed by junior colleagues
● Working directly with clients to manage deadlines and provide a proactive service
● Researching technical issues and developing practical solutions
● Building experience beyond compliance through tax planning and advisory projects
● Attending client meetings and industry events alongside senior colleagues
● Coaching Tax Associates and Interns as you progress towards management
Requirements
● At least three years of UK/US individual tax experience
● Enrolled Agent qualified
● ATT qualified, although strong part-qualified candidates may be considered
Exceptional candidates at Assistant Manager level may also be considered, although the primary focus is Senior Tax Associate.
