HR Advisor

Reed HR are proud to be looking for a HR advisor on behalf of wonderful organisation in Carmarthen. You will be an experienced and proactive HR Advisor supporting a dynamic team across South and West Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a compassionate, high-performing workplace where people truly matter.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, with a focus on employee relations, absence management, and staff retention.
• Provide expert guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and capability matters.
• Offer support during formal meetings and hearings.
• Maintain accurate and compliant HR records in line with GDPR and sector standards.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team and Wellbeing Manager to drive employee engagement and workforce planning.
• Contribute to the review and development of HR policies, ensuring alignment with legislation and sector best practice.
• Advise on absence management, including Occupational Health referrals.
• Support line managers with performance management and development processes.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Confident in advising managers on complex employee relations issues.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload effectively.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or at least two years’ experience in a similar HR role.
