A secondary school in Swindon is seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team this September. This role allows you to teach both KS4 and KS5 students, providing a varied and rewarding classroom experience.
About the Role
We are supporting a school looking for a teacher to deliver engaging English lessons to older students. You’ll help prepare KS4 students for their GCSEs while inspiring KS5 students at A Level. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching across multiple Key Stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach English across KS4 and KS5
* Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage students
* Support student progress, attainment, and wellbeing
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the English department
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level English curricula
* Experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
