Job Description

Security Officer – Samlesbury (BB2 7LF)

£14.56 per hour | ⏱️ 42 hours per week covering days, nights and weekends
Driver required – own vehicle essential

We’re hiring a Security Officer for a high-profile site covering Samlesbury. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your presence genuinely matters.

Your role

• Patrol sites (foot & vehicle) to keep people and property safe
• Control access – ID checks & visitor management
• Monitor CCTV and act on incidents
• Respond to alarms and emergencies
• Maintain accurate reports and logs

Active role – not desk-based

Qualifications

What you’ll need

✔ Valid SIA Licence
✔ Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
✔ Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
✔ Full UK driving licence + access to your own vehicle
✔ Physically fit (this is an active role with regular walking)

Essential requirements (site clearance)

British national by birth OR British passport held for 5+ years
✔ 5-year checkable work history
✔ Must be able to obtain SC clearance
