Raise the Roof Productions is looking for an experienced Casting Researcher to join the team on Love It or List It in our Glasgow office.We're seeking a confident, organised and proactive researcher with a strong track record of finding, engaging and managing contributors. You will play a key role in identifying compelling stories, assessing suitability, and supporting contributors throughout the casting process and into filming.Key Responsibilities• Researching and casting potential contributors
• Conducting targeted outreach and contributor interviews
• Carrying out feasibility and background checks
• Organising and conducting casting Zooms and contributor tapes
• Managing contributors throughout the casting process and supporting successful applicants into production
• Maintaining accurate casting records and databases
• Working closely with the wider production team to help deliver a successful seriesEssential skills/experience:
• At least three previous broadcast credits as a Researcher
• Casting contributors from initial contact through to final sign-off, including targeting and outreach, feasibility/background checking, and casting Zooms/tapes
• Managing contributors throughout the casting process and supporting them once selected for filming
• Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable
• Experience working on property and/or lifestyle programmes
This role needs team players who have enthusiasm for the series, so if you love property programmes, have excellent people skills, a keen eye for a great story, and experience delivering contributor-led casting, we'd love to hear from you.
