Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking for enthusiastic and attentive Early Years Practitioners to join fabulous schools in Sheffield . We welcome individuals who understand the importance of early childhood development and can use purposeful play, exploration, and positive interaction to create meaningful learning experiences.

As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP) , you will support children throughout their early development, helping them strengthen communication, social, physical, and cognitive skills within a safe and stimulating environment.

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:

* Plan age-appropriate activities based on children's interests and developmental stages
* Introduce language, early literacy, and numeracy through play and everyday experiences
* Observe individual development and contribute to accurate progress records
* Facilitate creative, sensory, physical, and exploratory activities
* Encourage positive interaction, confidence, and increasing independence
* Maintain a welcoming environment that supports children's learning and wellbeing

Early Years Practitioner Requirements:

* Experience within Early Years, nursery, childcare, or a related setting
* Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Awareness of key stages and areas of early childhood development
* Ability to engage young children through purposeful and age-appropriate activities
* Caring, responsible, and adaptable approach to Early Years practice
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
