The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4 . You will join a department that values mathematical fluency and functional application, with the potential to lead A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics for a candidate with strong subject specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Clarity: Teaching core pillars of mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Ratio, and Probability, with a focus on deep understanding rather than rote learning.

• Problem-Solving Leadership: Developing students' ability to break down multi-step worded problems and apply mathematical reasoning to real-world scenarios.

• Exam Strategy: Preparing students for Edexcel or AQA GCSE Mathematics, focusing on high-level AO2 and AO3 marks (Reasoning and Problem Solving).

• Data-Informed Teaching: Using regular low-stakes testing and diagnostic tools to identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted intervention.
