(Senior) Project Manager - Neuroscience

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead clinical trial projects within the Neuroscience therapeutic area. The role involves directing project delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful completion of studies across multiple indications including rare diseases, ophthalmology, and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary project lead and sponsor contact, accountable for quality, timeline, and cost delivery
• Establish and communicate customer expectations to internal project teams and manage sponsor relationships
• Oversee financial stewardship, contract compliance, budget alignment, and change management processes
• Drive risk identification, issue resolution, and ensure team compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead escalation pathways and coordinate communication between sponsor and delivery teams across regions or vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal qualification
• 8+ years of relevant experience in clinical research or project management
• Experience in Neuroscience studies, particularly rare disease, ophthalmology, sleep, epilepsy, psychiatry, or migraine indications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and clinical systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity)
• Advanced knowledge of clinical development guidelines, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of project management principles
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
