Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in London, Greater London. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care within acute inpatient settings for adult patients
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
• Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
• Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation

Qualifications & Experience

• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly in acute and inpatient environments
• Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
