An established and well-respected provider of fiduciary and corporate services is seeking a Client Services Accountant to join its team on a fixed-term contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to work with a varied portfolio of private client structures, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and exceptional client service within a professional and collaborative environment.
What you’ll do
- Prepare financial statements for a range of trust and corporate structures.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including intercompany transactions and loan schedules.
- Review bookkeeping records and financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with external accountants and review externally prepared accounts and associated filings.
- Assist with regulatory, tax and financial reporting obligations.
- Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure all deliverables are completed within required timeframes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the maintenance of high accounting standards.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues across the wider accounting function.
What you’ll need
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent experience).
- Previous client accounting experience, ideally within fiduciary, trust, corporate or professional services environments.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Experience with specialist accounting or trust administration systems would be advantageous.
