Site-Based Manager – 8-Week Construction Contract

Location: Sunbury

Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Start Date: Immediate – from Tuesday, 18 August 2026
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Rate: £275 per day, Outside IR35

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Site-Based Manager for an immediate-start, eight-week construction contract in Sunbury.

The project involves the repair of walls at a retail store following damage caused by a lorry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the site, coordinating four contractors, and ensuring the works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities on site.
• Coordinate and supervise four contractors carrying out the works.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with site requirements.
• Manage site paperwork, documentation, and records.
• Handle project-related emails and general administration.
• Liaise with contractors and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and ensure the project remains on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
• Address any site issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

• SMSTS qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Level 3 First Aid qualification
• Previous experience managing construction sites and contractors.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site.

Desirable:

• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification.
