As one of a tiny handful of top-of-market private funds players in the US, this elite US law firm’s London funds team, whilst still formidable, is a tad bonsai so has some catching up to do.
Despite this, in London, the funds team’s client roster encompasses some of THE biggest North American private funds clients covering private equity, credit and (more than a soupçon of) real assets/ infra matters. The team acts for sponsors and investors, with a focus on the former, and is also active in the secondary market.
A connected lateral/team, with sponsor side credentials, is sought to add firepower and to help close the gap in standing between its London and its US private funds offering.
