Assembler
Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting for an Assembler on behalf of one of our busy clients in the Wolverhampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in steel framing. The successful candidate will be working within a busy production environment assembling steel frame components to a high standard. Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
* Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm Pay: * £13.21 per hour
* Rising to £14.00 per hour after 12 weeks Duties: * Assembling steel framing products.
* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Operating drills and other assembly equipment.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Accurately reading and using tape measures.
* General labouring
* Working as part of a team to meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have: * Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
* Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Experience using drills and hand tools.
* Confidence using measuring tapes accurately.
* Good attention to detail. Additional Information: * Site induction provided.
* Practical drill test during the interview process.
* Tape measure assessment.
* Technical drawing assessment. Required PPE: * Hard-wearing work trousers or overalls.
* Safety boots. The following PPE will be provided by the company: * Gloves.
* Ear protection.
* High-visibility tops.
