Country Sales Director UK

Lead the Future of Institutional Solutions in the UK

A global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions is seeking a strategic and results-driven Country Sales Director to drive the growth of its Institutional business in the UK . This role offers the opportunity to lead around €60M business , manage a high-performing sales force of 100 professionals , and shape the market strategy in one of the most dynamic industries.

Your Role & Responsibilities

🔹 Strategic Leadership & Market Development

  • Define and execute the country-wide sales strategy , aligning with regional business objectives.
  • Oversee corporate accounts, distribution, and direct sales channels , ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Manage pricing, innovation deployment, and customer penetration initiatives to enhance market share.

🔹 Commercial & P&L Management

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure strong operational performance .
  • Own the P&L for France, driving profitability and long-term sustainability .
  • Implement data-driven decision-making and market intelligence to optimize commercial strategies.

🔹 Leadership & People Development

  • Manage and mentor a senior sales leadership team (7 District Managers, Business Development, and Sales Support).
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous learning .
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Marketing, Technical Training) to drive business effectiveness.

🔹 Customer Engagement & High-Level Negotiations

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, distributors, and strategic partners .
  • Support direct reports in complex negotiations and executive-level relationship management .
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead market expansion initiatives .

What We Are Looking For

Proven Sales Leadership: 7-10+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership , preferably in institutional, hospitality, foodservice, or industrial markets .
P&L Management: Hands-on experience in managing financial performance, optimizing pricing, and driving margin improvement .
Strong Business Acumen: Ability to translate market insights into strategic actions that enhance revenue growth.
Matrix Organization Experience: Skilled at collaborating across multiple business functions and international teams .
Exceptional Leadership & Communication Skills: Ability to inspire teams, engage stakeholders, and influence C-level executives .
Fluent in English (mandatory).
Flexibility to travel up to 60% across the UK and occasionally abroad.
