About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, committed and inspiring Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons, motivate students and help them achieve their academic and personal potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in your specialist subject.
• Follow the relevant curriculum and prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and other members of the school team.
• Support students' academic, social and emotional development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities and professional development.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified to teach in the UK, with QTS or equivalent .
• A strong subject specialist with a genuine passion for education.
• Confident in planning and delivering engaging secondary lessons.
• Skilled in classroom and behaviour management.
• Able to adapt teaching to support students with a range of abilities and needs.
• A strong communicator and effective team player.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
