About the Role
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Procurement and Supply Assistant (Level 3).
As a member of the Public Sector Customer Engagement Team, this role is integral to the function of providing an effective account management service to build excellent relationships with clients.
The role will involve maintaining accurate procurement data, supporting client communication, managing team inbox activity, and contributing to reporting and compliance processes.
Overview
This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation in procurement and supply, supporting the sourcing and purchasing of low‑value goods and services. Apprentices learn key procurement principles, policies, and procedures, including value for money, sustainability, supplier due diligence, and compliance with organisational requirements.
You’ll gain practical experience in day‑to‑day procurement activity such as benchmarking, researching, market insights, supporting quotes, maintaining records, and working with clients and internal stakeholders. On completion, apprentices are well‑placed to support procurement teams and progress into further roles or qualifications within procurement and supply.

- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics (Grade 4 or above)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
