An industry leading brand is currently seeking an EMEA VAT Specialist for their growing in-house team in Cambridge. This is a group facing role and will offer wide exposure to various elements of international VAT, acting as a key point of contact for various outsourced compliance elements and partnering with group on VAT queries. Previous in-house experience is not a pre-requisite.
Responsibilities:
- Complete VAT control
- Oversight and review of VAT returns, EC Sales and intrastate reporting
- Consistently improving and developing new methods of implementation
- Answering group queries on VAT and VAT impact
- Keeping up to date with changes in EU tax legislation
Requirements:
- Good experience of UK and EU VAT
- ATT/CTA or equivalent would be beneficial
- Confidence is key, this is a group facing role that will require you to coordinate with multiple sections of the group
£50k - £55k per annum
Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports. Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
