Project Administrator 

Are you interested in project administration and coordination? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Project Administrator, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Project Administrator to join our Environment and Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Project Administrator to join our Environment & Safety team. This role is responsible for providing effective project administration to meet the needs of the business, supporting the successful delivery of Fire Safety services to our clients, and contributing proactively to the growth and development of both the department and the company.

In this role, you will need the confidence to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team. 

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate and administer client projects from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Maintain project trackers, databases, and management systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Monitor project KPIs, identify potential issues, and escalate where necessary.
  • Schedule site visits and allocate work to project teams to support efficient service delivery.
  • Process, proofread, and submit reports to clients within agreed timescales.
  • Manage project documentation, purchase orders, work orders, and invoicing processes.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams, responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Attend client meetings to provide administrative support and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality client service while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications



To be a successful Project Administrator, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent work ethic and contributes to a positive culture
  • Intermediate level in MS Office and business management software (e.g., CRM, ERP) Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving skills
